St Radegund Pub

The Radegund on Friday

Vera Lynn Club

The Radegund is a small Pub located at the end of King St by the four lamps roundabout. For those of you who don't know Cambridge then the map can be found here.

Friday night is the start of the weekend and we know how to get into the spirit quickly. Forget the week and start with a premium large Gin and Tonic, served with a twist of Lime in a long glass with plenty of ice for the price of just over a single. This beauty was the brainchild of the two Colins (Wright and Hunter) back in 1995 when they invited their work colleagues to share a 'Vera' with them after work. The 'Vera' soon became the most popular way to start the weekend and homage is still paid between 5.00pm and 7.30pm evey friday evening. Listen out for the last Vera's call and the playing of 'We'll meet again'

The atmosphere on a Friday evening is truly captivating and it is no wonder that the Radegund has the reputation of being a 'proper pub'.
